Project 2 - The Collective

This project is evolved around working together and social media platforms. We all had to create social media platforms in small groups and all got given different websites to work from. There was Flickr, Instagram, Facebook and Tumblr. My group was given Flickr and we decided on a Flickr name and password. We chose a profile picture and added an album for each student in our group. In the picture above, it shows some of the images we have posted to the page in order to showcase our work to anyone who seems interested. All of the groups have done the same but included other peoples work to it like students from the other groups and tagged our names so people can look at our work. Recently we have been looking more into portrait, fashion and studio photography. We went into the 'cove' and learnt more about lights and cameras and how they work together. The image below is a new thing we all learnt about being able to get the perfect apeture for a shot. You use the light meter to set up the shutter speed and iso and then put the light meter up to the face of the model who is infront of the camera, where the light hits and press a button on the side, and someone behind the light presses the flash button so it tells the light meter how bright the light is and says what aperture is the best to work with, with the brightness of the light you are using.
