I chose this image for my final image because it was the look/set out I was hoping that I would be able to create for my piece. I wanted to create a simple black and white magazine cover which looks professional but really simple with little writing on it so the audience aren't too distracted by the writing on the image. I chose to make the cover french so I included the 'PARIS' in the title just like actual covers, that's where I got the idea from doing research on foreign magazine covers, then I included some french writing at the bottom keeping it simple. I think this image overall is really eye catching because of the models head in front of the magazine title. I did some research on where I should put the title, some magazine covers have the writing in front of the models faces but I think it looks better with the title behind because it looks more professional. I put it in black and white because I think the original colour of the photograph would have made the image look messy with the writing on top of that as well. The fact the model doesn't have a direct gaze with the camera makes the image a little more interesting because it makes it seem that theres something she's looking at which will make us wonder what it is.
