Project 3 - Project Research

I researched David Sims for my fashion photography because he works in the style I enjoy looking at and working with. It seems like a fun and exciting shoot to do because it's kwirky and this photo shows the style I want to work in with the models I use. For these kind of pictures I will have to use a fast shutter speed because I want the model to be jumping or moving her hair so I need to capture it fast. This picture by David Sims shows exactly what I want to produce by the end of this project. I think he has a kwirky sense of style with photography and fashion which works well together.

I researched Heather Edwards for my floral photography because she has a good range of photos relevant to floral photography. Her photos are very colourful which I like and they are really sharp. Her work mostly consists of floral photography, but she has a lot of pictures of food. I also looked on pintrest for inspiration. For the final chose of these two genres, I chose to work with fashion photography because I think it intrests me more, there is a lot more you can do with it than floral photography because there is a lot more things to look at like different trends and ways in which to photograph the models.
