Monday Session - Street Photography

Today, we got set a task to go out into the street and take pictures of people. We had to try and face our fears of talking to complete strangers to get the images we wanted and needed. The man in the bottom picture allowed us to take photos of him busking. I like the image because I took it at the level he was sat, which makes it look more intresting and makes the photo look fuller. I like the cool blue tones because it shows the mood of the setting. I blurred the people in the back on photoshop so the busker looked more in focus and I made sure he was the main focus in this image.

The top image is of one of my friends, we went for some lunch so I decided to take pictures of her because I liked how her hair matched her coat she was wearing. On photoshop I brightened her hair using the dodge tool and darkened the background using the burn tool.

These images don't really respresent the idea of what I'm trying to work with in the project, but I think it's giving me ideas for maybe completley different subject. I like how the bottom image shows how much passion the busker is putting into his performance because hes hot his eyes closed.
