We did a shoot today based on project 4, the others. I have chosen to base my topic around Gender Equality, because I think it is an easy subject to work with and think ideas for. I have decided to work around the idea of female and male clothing, beauty and apperance. I liked this photo because it represents the apperance of a female really well. Because the model I used has long hair and she is sat in a feminine position.

With this image, firstly I cropped it because there was dirt on the floor which we used for the shoot, so I cropped that out to make it look more professional. This is a Mario Testino inspired shoot, I like the way he edits his pictures and makes them look so proffesional and simple. I read how he likes to capture people in their own element, in everyday life. Unexpected pictures is what I like aswell, I captured this image at the right moment when the model was laughing and it made a good picture because theres a story/reason behind it.

Mario Testino shot this picture of Princess Diana for the magazine 'Vanity Fair' and like in mine he shot it with no intentions, she was looking the other way and laughing. But all of his pictures look really professional even though they aren't planned.
