Project 4 - The Others

This is a project about how we perceive others. The themes we have to work on are, age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage and civil partnership, pregnancy and maternity, race including colour, nationality and ethnic origins and nation origins, religion or belief and sex or sexual orientation. We have been looking aty different photographers who work in this way, including Samuel Fosso, Humans of New York and Steve McCurry. I am going to base my project around the idea of childhood upbringings in different culutres. So I will find children I know and get them to dress up in different religous clothes or day to day clothes or something else. This image shows the difference in two cultures, with Indian children all speaking to one english child, this shows how different they are because they all seem very interested in one child who isn't from around there.
