Project 5 - Palace Theatre

Today we went to the Palace Theatre in Plymouth on Union Street, which was claimed to be one of the most popular night clubs/theatre's in the UK. The building was built in the 1890's and was closed in 2006. It was raided by police and the whole place was on fire.

This image is of the main part of the building. The parts on the sides that stick out are the booths the wealthier people were able to afford to sit in when there was an event on. The black square on the wall is where the DJ used to play the music when it was a night club. I like the colours of the building, red and gold kind of represent the idea of royalty.
