Project 5 - Beach shoot for Plastic Pollution

Today, we had some free time on our hands and went to Whitsands. Due to the purpose of the project and in our luck we found a lot of rubbish on the beach, which was very helpful for us because it was perfect for our project.

I saw this writing on the rocks and I immediatlety thought it was perfect for the shoot. I got down and took this shot. I think it is very relatable to this project and has a meaning behind it.

We met a man who was doing a similar thing to us. He stopped to speak to us about what he does and who he works for and told us what he was doing that day. He told us he was collecting orange waste and rubbish in bags and putting them on the sand all together to take photos of them. He was nice enough to let us take pictures of him and the rubbish for our blogs/projects.

I took this photo in the sea, it's not really relating to this project but I liked the lines in the picture from the waves.

The man who spoke to us about what he was doing down on the beach(him in the picture) had just finished sorting out all of his finds. He was taking pictures of them and allowed us to. He directed us on how to take the picture and what angle to take it on. I think this image is going to be my final image because i'm doing plastic pollution for my project, and it's very relatable. And i have some research behind it.
