Project 6 - Photographer Research (Mario Testino)

Mario Testino is a Peruvian fashion and portrait photographer, who is mostly known for his shoots with Diana and the rest of the royal family. He shoots for vogue in different countries worldwide and other big magazines. Mario Testino is the perfect photographer for me to look at to gather information I need to progress in this project. His work specializes in fashion/beauty/portraits. I find these fractions really fun to work with in a studio or outdoors, I find in a studio they work better because you can control the lighting and the backdrop and it's a more calmer environment.

This is an image by Mario Testino of Carmen Kass for a magazine called Allure, which was from a beauty shoot. I like how bold the colours are and how they contrast with each other because the colours don't match.
