Project 6 - Photographer Research - Alexi Lubomirski

These two images were taken of Kate Winslet by Alexi Lubomirski, with natural lighting. I feel that these kind of images look more flattering than studio lighting because it shows the natural 'flaws' and lines and makes the models face look smoother. I like how in the picture on the left the model is looking straight at the camera with a straight face, which engages the audience. In the one on the right, I like how she has used that face piece to add an extra thing to look at in the image. I like how natural the images are because of the natural lighting, it makes the image look soft and subtle.
