This is my finished magazine cover, this wont be my final image but I just wanted to do this so I could have a practice and to have an idea on what the layout would look like in my final piece. I feel like it looks professional like I wanted it to.

With the writing, I downloaded the 'VOGUE' name and font so it would be the same as all of the other magazine covers, then I put it onto a word document and set it out so it would fit in with the image on the cover because her head is in the middle, I left out the letter 'G'. In media I learnt that magazine editors sometimes leave out some letters of the magazine title, but only if the magazine is a well known one. I matched the colour of some writing with the colour of the models hair, because it makes the magazine cover look more interesting to look at and it makes it look more formal which I was going for. I feel like I could have made the background of the image a different colour on Photoshop because it makes it look really flat and makes it look like it has no dimension to it. So next time I will Photoshop a different colour to the background if it hasn't got colour already because I don't want my final piece to look flat and boring. I made the date small writing so it wouldn't make the rest of the writing look less important. There were shadows on the background caused by the model and the lights in front of the model, which I got rid of in Photoshop which looking at it now, I shouldn't have got rid of because it makes the image look really flat.
