Today, we went to Mount Edgcumbe to shoot some images for their professional website. We had to find fun things around the park to photograph, like activities or cafe's or shops. I found a couple of cafe's, an art studio and a segway activity. We got the chance to photograph the Mount Edgcumbe house and the facilities around it. We had a talk with the owner of the place and he told us he wanted us to photograph things the public don't notice about the park. I found a man with a Falcon on his arm with two other people, I decided to photograph the bird because it was an activity/session taking place at the park, and I think it would show the public what they can get involved in. I edited this image on Photoshop. I darkened the background with the burn tool and brightened up the bird with the dodge tool, I also used the levels to sort out the exposure. I sharpened the bird and the mans hand to make sure they stood out from the rest of the picture. Because the bird is up high and brightened up, it looks really powerful and makes it look like a leader.

We then went to the segway training center where there were four people training to use the segways. They had to do a few laps and then an obstacle course. The man training them asked them whether they were okay with us taking their pictures. We had to capture their expressions and feelings on their faces and in their body whilst they were on the segways. I captured this man limbo under a piece of rope on the segway, I captured the image as he looked at the camera which gives it that more defined expression. I also edited this photo on Photoshop and I changed the levels which brought up the brightness because the picture originally was really dark, I used the dodge tool on the man to make him the focus of the image and I brightened the segway aswell. I used the burn tool to darken the background so the man stood out a bit more.
