Project 6 - Analysing

This is the kind of layout I want to achieve for my final piece, I like how the title of the magazine goes behind the models head at the top. The colour co-ordination makes it look more sophisticated with the grey and the white. The banner across the title of the magazine makes it look more interesting and the colour of the banner matches the writing on the cover. Using big letters and numbers makes the image and the model look less important. The writing on the right side is placed to the right, and the same on the left just reversed. They have put the date underneath the title in small letters so it wont take the limelight away from anything else.

The model has a direct gaze which would attract the readers/viewers more but she is facing to the side with a jacket on just one shoulder. It makes her look powerful. The background colour is a grey colour which matches the colours white and black of the writing on the cover. They have also included a bar code at the bottom of the image.
